HEROIC made short work of EHOME in the Group A elimination match in Moscow, securing one-sided wins on Inferno and Nuke to ensure a playoffs berth.
The Chinese team managed to contest HEROIC at the onset of Inferno, but were unable to maintain momentum as a stellar banana hold aided HEROIC in their effort to take an opening map win. HEROIC went into their own map pick of Nuke with confidence as EHOME had lost the map to Vitality 1-16 in their opening matchup, a scoreline which the Danish team were able to mirror as they swiftly sent Kelun "SLOWLY" Sun and company packing in last place.
HEROIC have secured a spot in the playoffs of EPICENTER with their victory, with one match left to play against Natus Vincere to determine which team will have the higher seed heading into the bracket stage.
A triple kill banana hold from Martin "stavn" Lund opened up the series for HEROIC, with an ensuing anti-eco conversion granting them a two-round head start over their opposition. EHOME were able to reply with four rounds of their own, but quickly crumbled as they were only able to penetrate HEROIC's defenses on one more occasion via a quad kill from QingHui "FIOURN" Kong to grant Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's troops a 10-5 lead at the break.

HEROIC maintained momentum off of the side swap as Casper "cadiaN" Møller found a triple kill in the pistol, allowing the team to make short work of EHOME as they closed the opening map 16-5.
Nuke was an even more one-sided affair as EHOME once again were unable to muster any trace of a defense, allowing HEROIC a 14-1 lead following their T-side effort. Two rounds off the break sealed the deal for the Danes as they brought the map to a close, 16-1, earning a spot in the quarter-finals of EPICENTER 2019.
